The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy Innovation (Center Director Kim Won-kyung, hereinafter referred to as the Gyeonggi Center for Innovation) announced on the 14th that it has successfully completed the 24th Startup 815 IR-SEED at the Pangyo Startup Zone.
The 24th "Startup 815 IR – SEED" had the opportunity to directly show investors the original ideas and technologies of startups with innovative technologies in the climate tech sector and deep tech startups selected through the "Startup Growth Technology Development Project (Global R&D)."
The four companies participated in the event were ▲3I Solution (real-time ingredient analysis equipment and solution based on neutron radiation technology), ▲Dienier (AI-based smart factory drawing concept design and interpretation platform), ▲Newbreeze (integrated cognitive degradation screening and cognitive health management service), and ▲SR (lithium selective pre-extraction and lithium carbonate recovery from waste battery black powder using mechanical chemical reactions), introducing their differentiated technologies and business models to investors, suggesting solutions to climate change problems for sustainable development, and sharing hopeful prospects for revitalizing the startup ecosystem.
Several investment companies, including Next Wave Venture Partners, Infobank, Danal Investment Partners, K-Run Ventures, Future Play, 2it Investments, KR Ventures, Venture Square, Kingsley Ventures, Blue Point Partners, and The Blue C, participated in the event to evaluate each startup's business expansion and development potential in domestic and international markets and carefully review its investment potential.
An official from the Gyeonggi Innovation Center said, "We will lay the foundation for verifying technology and growing efficiently in the actual market, not just IR to attract investment," adding, "We will provide various programs and resources from a long-term perspective for the growth of startups."
Startup 815IR will be held every Thursday at Pangyo Startup Zone in each stage of startup growth, and it plans to actively discover companies with high future value in the future and provide organic support with start-up ecosystem institutions to increase the probability of survival.
Pangyo Start-up Zone was established in 2017 to intensively foster promising entrepreneurs with a super gap and is the "largest start-up support cluster in Korea" run by the Korea Startup Promotion Agency and the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center.
